Top 5 Reasons Being a Precinct Caucus Attendee is Better Than Watching Lost

We’ve been patiently waiting for weeks. We’ve seen the ads, the Facebook posts and the tweets on Twitter. Hacks have spent countless hours on blogs pondering the results of February 2nd and finally the wait is over.

Tonight starting at 7pm, all across the state of Minnesota people will come together and devote two hours of their lives…

… to watching the season premiere of Lost.

Of course, we hope that YOU will be able to resist the lure of prime-time television and instead will attend your local precinct caucus. But in case you needed an extra push -

Top 5 Reasons Being a Caucus Attendee is Better Than Watching Lost.

1.) Finding your caucus location is quite a bit easier than trying to find the Island (visit www.dflcaucuses.org)

2.) It is MUCH easier to explain walking sub-caucuses to a first time attendee than it is explaining the plot of Lost to a first time viewer.

3.) When people are screaming, “WAAAALT!” you know they’re just having a passionate conversation about Walter Mondale.

4.) This is your chance to plot against the nefarious Others (and by Others, we mean Republicans).

5.) At the end of your two hours of caucusing, you’ll actually feel like you learned and accomplished something.

You can always DVR Lost, but there is only one night you can caucus in Minnesota. Please attend your precinct caucuses tonight (and watch Lost on Wednesday).

Thanks,
